What Is Prayer?

Many times when someone prays, they're asking for something. Does this sound like you? Do you believe that by asking God for something is the only way to pray? The best way?

I believe that the true and honest prayer one can say from the heart, is a prayer of Acceptance and Thanksgiving. Accepting what we already have in our life, and giving thanks for it. I say this because the truth is, God has given us all we need, all we have to do is reach out and accept our gifts.

So, what are you accepting in your life for yourself right now? Are you accepting love for yourself? Are you accepting to appreciate others the way they are? Are you accepting your health, just the way it is, knowing that all is well in your life? Are you accepting prosperity, joy, and happiness for not only yourself, but your loved ones as well?

This week, spend some time in prayer just accepting God's good for yourself, and giving thanks for all your immediate blessings. A good affirmation to say is; "Right now this moment, I accept all of God's blessings, and I am thankful for all I have." Say this often, and with conviction and faith. Soon, you'll discover that all your needs are already met.

Peace & Blessings,
