TLChoices Care Interpreter

The Care InterpreterTM is a free decision-support tool that allows you to find the best living options for a parent or loved one based on specific personal and health needs."

You will be required to register for this free service, however, TLC promises us that they will not pass your name and register on to any other parties. They will send a message that says:

"Here is a product we think you should know about" and if you are interested, you can choose to be contacted by them. This will most likely occur about once a month. We recommend that you review their privacy policy (which is different from ours) and consider it before inputting any sensitive information which may be required by TLC

Once registered, TLC will prompt you with a few questions pertaining to the needs of your loved one in order to find the appropriate information you are in need of. Ex. finances, health status, etc. This should take approximately 5-10 minutes.

Once entered, a grid will appear showing you the various options available. This grid outlines information on providing care at home as well as the different assisted care settings available, and indicates how well matched the settings are for your specific needs and situation. It will advise you and offer detailed information on how to research more on the options that are available to you.

Empowering Caregivers and National Organization For Empowering Caregivers do not receive any form of compensation for making TLC's service available to our community. It is offered because it can be a potentially useful tool for you in the decision-making process for the care of your loved one.
